Sure can!
The pasta was amazing. Will definitely go back
Good food.... but not able to cater to food allergies
We dine out 5 to 6 times a week. Delray has lots of excellent restaurants, but Jimmy's is THE BEST place in town - hands down. The intimate atmosphere, fantastic food and fabulous staff, Julie, Pete, Jesse, Jackie et al, make this our absolute favorite. The menu is varied. There's something for everyone. Always good fresh fish entrees. We make it a point to dine here once a week. Never ever less than perfect.
Excellent food and good wine selection. Staff very attentive. We'll be back.
Delish as usual!
Always fantastic
Got totally spoiled here! Incredible Ceviche - a must have!Fun atmosphere. Will definitely go back!!
Excellent. Ceviche soooo good!
Julie and Mathew are the best!! The pork schnitzel is better though!
The food was delish! Location perfect! Friendly, helpful waitress! Unique menu!
The man who greeted us when we walked in was rude, and we felt totally uncomfortable. When he came to our table he was still very rude and unpleasant. We wanted to leave. I’ve never had this negative experience in any restaurant. We felt as if we were unwanted. Food was excellent but I’m not sure I’ll ever return.
Fresh well prepared menu, staff is friendly and provides top notch service. Only downside is we dont get to visit there enough!!!
Without a doubt the best restaurant in Delray Beach.
Thought we would try a new place. Very small, atmosphere was lacking. Small bar - only serves beer and wine. Menu is compact and written on a chalkboard for everyone to read. We ordered Tomato Bisque which was $12 for a small serving with a pastry top: not bad, but not the best. Also the Fresh mozzarella and tomato at $12; mozzarella was just ok quite firm, Florida tomatoes which aren’t very good. And the entree of yellow tail at $36 was very tasty but not worth the price. Servers were ok (but only after we broke the ice). At first they seemed very distant, didn’t try hard to offer good service, and they did not have much of a sense of humor. We don't mind spending for a good meal, and we have dined at more expensive places - but they offer more than this place does so it is worth it. We might consider a return - but ONLY if the prices were lower. It is not worth the money.
Food very good. Way, way to noisy.Had to scream across the table to be heard. Wine prices very high. Been there many times over the years, Mildly disappointed this time.
Intimate one of a kind spot. Reminiscent of a NY hidden spot. Menu changes daily so you know the food is fresh.
Really wonderful fresh food! The menu changes daily and is always quite diverse and fresh. The service here is wonderful and it’s a nice quiet spot versus being on the main road.
OMG ... A hidden gem !! Started with the Ceviche which was done with Swordfish and was awesome, I had the Half Roasted Duck which is the BEST I've ever had and My wife had the Short Ribs, which melted in your mouth, This place is a must visit, ASAP !!! 10 Thumbs up !!!
Delicious fresh food offerings. Waite staff very friendly. Can't wait to return!
Small and extremely well prepared menue with terrific staff
Been here several times, great vibe, owners/operators really care about the food and the specials are def special. We always want to go back after a visit, you should check it out.
Definitely a double take!Have to try all the dishes on the menu!
My wife and I have eaten there twice, once with my son and his girlfriend. The food has been very good and the limited wine selection excellent to match the food. The pastry covered soups were enjoyed before the entree as well as the pear salads. One visit we were given a complimentary tomato/ mozzarella salad when the food was delayed. We went on weekdays and were in no hurry to finish. Now they have two seatings on weekends which makes sense as they are busy! We are glad to find this young chef working so hard and so expertly! Fish and homemade pasta dishes were tasty!
Nice, cozy place. Food is a bit pricey, but delicious.
this was a lovely bistro type restaurant with wonderful offerings. my husband really enjoyed his birthday surprise!
Great atmosphere and service. But the food is second to none. Great job chef
Disappointing...food really subpar.Just had dinner at Jimmy’s and it was a disappointing experience. The place has a nice atmosphere, the service was good but the food was really off. The Ceviche appetizer and the short ribs were quite good but two of the entrées – the swordfish special and the Porkchop special were pretty bad. The Porkchop was tough and bland and the swordfish was pretty much inedible. When we reported this to the server she offered to replace the swordfish but we definitely had no interest in that and we just turned in the plate. They made no offer to adjust the bill or make any other accommodation. Very surprising. The sides were also quite uninspired so overall the food was the worst we’ve had in Delray.
This restaurant is consistently very good. It's small but cozy and has a nice vibe. The menu is on a blackboard and there's a good variety of offerings from fish to fowl to meat. Everything is tasty and well presented...not fancy...but nicely done. We had pork schnitzel and chicken fried chicken tonight...both enjoyable. Prices are not inexpensive and they serve only wine and beer. They are extremely well organized and handle a packed house virtually every night with skill. The food arrives hot and in a reasonable time. Reservations are essential and probably not available last minute.
great dinner, really enjoyed the menu and atmosphere
What a great place! I stopped in while on a walk with my dog and was greeted so warmly by Evie! The coffee is wonderful! Just the perfect place for this neighborhood! They have a full menu and deliver as well. Quality all the way!
Been there many times ,fantastic food ,great people .
Locals favor Jimmy's for a simple reason: well prepared delicious meals. It is a small place so make a reservation. You can eat at the bar without a reservation but often those few seats are taken. The core menu is very stable so you can usually get your favorite. But the specials change often enough so if you go back regularly you're never disappointed. The cuisine is american comfort food without feeling stuffed. The menu is only on a chalk board so if it's your first time feel free to study carefully. Wine list is stocked with decent wines at reasonable restaurant prices. Desserts are good but limited - I'd order an extra glass of wine instead. We always enjoy our time at Jimmy's.
Jimmy’s is amazing!! The food is incredible and the service is great. Julie and Peter are great!!! The atmosphere is quaint and different from the major hustle and bustle of Atlantic Ave. If you want an amazing meal with great service, this is the hidden gem you’ve been looking for!!
This restaurant is always consistent. I got the special chicken parmigiana it was awesome. My wife got the swordfish and it was amazing. The other couple we went with got the short ribs and they loved it . They get fresh fish delivery every day from captain clays in Delray.
I was underwhelmed by the service and the food. Nothing bad happened, nothing was wrong, but nothing was great. There were only three tables seated while we were there yet the service was slow. The food was mediocre. All three of our entrees were under-seasoned and bland.
clearly one of the best additions to south florida cuisine. tiny restaurant, so be sure to make a reservation. this chef delights in serving the best. all superlatives here when it comes to modern, well prepared dinners. worth the drive from the north part of the county.
A hidden gem! Julie and her staff were amazing! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for such great service and delicious dinner!
Lovely atmosphere, interesting and tasty menu but they simply won't make substitutions. This is particularly bothersome since every meal has 1/3 of the plate represented in carbs such as rice, potatoes, pasta and or sugar. So if you want a simple meat and green vegetable, cause you're on a low carb diet, no go. "Just don't eat that part." was the server's comment.
Food and sevice were great. The only dissapointing part of the night was the attitude of the manager/owner (Pete?) He wouldn't give us the time of day. I complimented the food and all I he said was glad you liked it, in a sarcastic way. Guess you have to be a local, which we are. Oh well its par for the coarse these days.
Great food and service. Julie us the best
Had a wonderful dinner. The rigatoni bolognese was delicious!
Best hidden jewel and Delray Beach
AMAZING FOOD and service cant say enough good things about Jimmy's!
Excellent food and the service is also great. Best food in Downtown Delray.
Yesterday was our first time we visited this magnificent restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We had great time with the attentive service, with the magnificent cooking and booze and with the modest charge. We will absolutely go back there again.
Best dinner of the week. Really do not skip desert
Love the fresh fish option that changes daily
Menu is posted daily to the chalkboard. Delicious food, but small restaurant. Be sure to make reservations. Only serves beer and wine. Main courses start at $35. Noise level can be pretty loud. Fish is very fresh!
Jimmy's was excellent. Duck in soy sauce is my go to there. It did not disappoint.
Great freshest fish. L poop poop 09œ up
